Laura MacDougall

Laura Macdougall is a Senior Scientist at Cascade Bio since August 2023, specializing in polymer characterization and FTIR techniques. Prior to this role, Laura served as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Colorado Boulder from August 2018 to August 2023 and completed a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry at the University of Warwick, where the thesis focused on nucleophilic thiol-yne addition chemistry for the synthesis of tuneable and cytocompatible poly(ethylene glycol) hydrogel materials. Laura's early experience includes an MChem position at The Lubrizol Corporation from September 2013 to August 2014, and completing a Master’s degree in Chemistry at the University of York from September 2010 to July 2014.
