Joan Gary

Joan Gary's work experience can be summarized as follows:

- From 2019 to the present, they have been working at Cascade Energy, Inc. In this role, they serve as a Strategic Energy Management Coach and is responsible for providing support to clients in energy management. Joan also previously worked as an Industrial Outreach Engineer, where they focused on identifying energy-saving project opportunities for industrial customers and assisting them with their needs in areas such as compressed air, process cooling, industrial refrigeration, pumps and fans, and HVAC.

- From 2013 to 2019, Joan worked at Schlumberger in various roles. Joan started as a Field Engineer II, specializing in dynamic pressure management. In this position, they managed balanced drilling operations, provided technical advice to clients, and ensured optimal column and formation pressure for well control. Joan then became a PROACT Field Engineer II, focusing on environmental solutions research and development. Joan conducted field tests and data analysis comparing different technologies and contributed to the purchase of an updated fleet. Joan also worked as an Environmental Solutions Engineer on the Hebron platform and was responsible for managing environmental compliance and the quality of the chemical treatment and injection system. Additionally, they conducted audits and published standard operating procedures to improve product delivery. Prior to that, Joan served as a PROACT Field Engineer, working on the Stena IceMAX drillship and managing environmental compliance for drilling operations in the Shelburne Basin. Joan also designed and implemented a fleet tracking system. Joan Gary's education history begins in 2009 when they enrolled at the University of Notre Dame. Joan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Geoscience from Notre Dame in 2013. In 2011, they participated in a semester study abroad program at The University of Western Australia.

In addition to their formal education, Joan also has several certifications. Joan completed the M-I SWACO Drilling Fluid Technical School I in 2013, followed by the M-I SWACO Environmental Solutions Technical School in 2014. In 2015, they completed the M-I SWACO Cutting Reinjection Technical School. Joan also obtained the WellSharp Well Control certification in 2018 from the International Association of Drilling Contractors. Furthermore, they obtained the 1651- Construction Worker Safety certification in 2017 from NLCSA and the WHMIS 2015 certification in 2017 from Global HazMat Inc.
