A native Californian, though residing in Reno, Nevada for the past 20 years, Dana has been with Cascade Living Group since 2010. She has been a nurse for over 35 years with the majority of her career working with seniors, recognizing early on that was the specialty area she truly enjoyed.
Dana attended San Jose State University, where she obtained her RN degree. She also attended University of California, San Francisco, earning her Masters of Science degree as a Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist. She made her way up the hill to Truckee, California where she worked for eight years as the manager of a skilled nursing, long term care unit before moving to Reno to begin her assisted living career.
In her spare time, Dana enjoys hiking with friends and her dog, Murphy, traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
