Jerry Schleining

Jerry Schleining is an experienced leader in the Boy Scouts of America, currently serving as Wood Badge Course Director for the Cascade Pacific Council since September 2016 and as Wood Badge Staff Assistant Scoutmaster -Facilities since November 2012. With volunteer experience dating back to September 1999, Jerry has held positions such as Scoutmaster for Troop 664 and Troop 720 during the 2010 National Jamboree. Additionally, from April 2008 to December 2016, Jerry hosted the SMMPodcast, a platform focused on enhancing the Scouting experience. Jerry's military background includes serving as Command Sergeant Major from October 2001 to September 2005, providing mentorship and guidance to enlisted soldiers. Jerry pursued education at Portland State University and completed training at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy between 2003 and 2004.
