Lawrence Canzoneri, Chief Financial Officer, joined Casdin Capital in 2019. Lawrence brings over 20 years of experience in the investment management industry in the areas of operations, financial management and technology implementation.
Prior to joining Casdin, Lawrence was Director, Operational Due Diligence at Aksia, LLC, a specialist research and portfolio advisory firm that provides alternative investment solutions to institutional investors. Previously, he was CFO of Argonaut Management, a global macro hedge fund and prior to that, CFO at Level Global Investors, a multibillion-dollar long/short equity fund. Lawrence began his career in accounting at Richard A. Eisner & Co. and then Ernst & Young before moving to operational roles.
Lawrence earned a B.A. in Accounting from Pace University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
