In 1994, they moved to Child Magazine as Promotion Director. In 1998, they were Managing Director at The New York Times. In 2004, they became Promotion Director at SELF Magazine. In 2006, they were Creative Services Director at The New Yorker. From 2007 to 2015, they were an Independent Marketing & Promotion Consultant for Vogue Magazine, Every Day with Rachael Ray Magazine, Life & Style Weekly Magazine, and OK! Magazine. Since 2015, they have been Marketing & Communications Director at Case Study Brands, where they are responsible for brand DNA/brand strategy, website development, messaging/content & asset creation for clients in financial services, fashion, beauty, architecture/real estate, retail and non-profit. Additionally, they provide marketing and event support for local non-profit organizations.
Ellen Weiss Reid attended Colgate University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English and Theology.
