Diarmuid King has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Diarmuid started their career as a Web Application Developer at AIG Trading Group in 1999, where they worked until 2001. Diarmuid then joined Pitney Bowes as a Web Application Developer for a year before moving on to KingNet Consulting LLC in 2002, where they served as the Lead Web Application Developer for enjoytheshow.com, the principal site of Loews Cineplex Entertainment.

In 2003, Diarmuid joined Credit Suisse as a Web Application Developer, where they created a new SQL Server database for an existing VB/Access application and developed a web application for generating ad-hoc reports. Diarmuid continued their journey at Credit Suisse and became a Web and Database Developer in 2004. In this role, they led various projects and worked closely with the business to create new systems and adapt existing ones to meet changing requirements. Diarmuid also emphasized agile development and rapid delivery of functionality for quick client feedback.

In 2004, Diarmuid also worked as a Web Applications Developer at Debt Traders, where they designed and developed several web applications used by managers, traders, and salespeople. Diarmuid played a key role in troubleshooting complex triggers, stored procedures, and data-related issues.

After leaving Debt Traders, Diarmuid returned to Credit Suisse as a Lead Web and Database Developer and continued contributing to the development of web applications until December 2013.

In 2014, Diarmuid joined Charitybuzz as a Ruby Developer and then moved to LendKey in 2015, where they worked as a Ruby Developer on projects related to launching new auto-finance products and re-architecting the environment to be more service-oriented. Diarmuid also worked on a large existing Ruby codebase and developed command line tools for deployment and automation.

In the same year, Diarmuid joined Casebook PBC as a Software Engineer and Technical Lead, where they currently hold a position.

Diarmuid King obtained their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of London, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. After completing their LLB, they passed the New York Bar Exam in July 1996, certified by the New York State Board of Law Examiners. Diarmuid then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Internet Strategy Management from Marlboro College Graduate & Professional Studies, where they studied from 1998 to 1999.
