Jeffrey Hatt has a long and varied work experience. Jeffrey began their career in 2005 as a Technical Support Intern at Sun Microsystems. In the same year, they also worked as a Designed Controls and Communications Intern for the University of Texas at Austin's Challenge X Project. In 2006, they were hired as a Process Engineer at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, where they designed a website to track process qualification measurements using ASP.Net and SQL. In 2008, they were promoted to CIM Engineer at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, where they developed and modified host software to interface with semiconductor manufacturing tools using C#, VB6, and VB.Net. In 2009, they moved to GTECH as a Software Engineer. In 2012, they were hired as a Software Engineer at Gemalto. In 2013, they moved to IGT as a Principal Software Engineer, where they configured and deployed MongoDB clusters in Linux VMs, migrated ASP.Net C# web applications into Node.js projects, created and maintained iOS applications, integrated LivePerson as a chat solution, and maintained Team Foundation Server for source control. In 2017, they moved to Intific as a Principal Software Engineer. Most recently, in 2021, they were hired as Lead Software Engineer at Casetext.

Jeffrey Hatt obtained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from The University of Texas at Austin between 2002 and 2006, specializing in Embedded Systems. Jeffrey has also obtained four certifications from Coursera, including Cryptography I, Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems, Creative, Serious and Playful Science of Android Apps, and Linear and Integer Programming, between 2013 and 2014.
