Mario Johnson

Mario Johnson is a seasoned professional in child protection and family services with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Sr. Director, Strategic Consultant at Casey Family Programs since March 2022, Mario previously held the position of Division Chief of Equity at the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services from July 2020 to March 2022. Prior experience includes over a decade at the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services, where Mario directed the Independent Living Program and provided leadership as Bureau Director for Youth Transition Support Services. Earlier roles include an Adjunct Professor at Virginia College and a Grants Manager at the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency. Mario holds a Master's degree in Social Work and a Master of Science in Counselor Education from Jackson State University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from the same institution.
