Jonty Gibbs

Jonty Gibbs has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting roles. Jonty currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Cash Converters, Australia's largest sub-prime, non-bank lender and second-hand retailer. Prior to this, they were the Group Corporate Finance Manager at Cash Converters. Jonty previously worked as the Group Financial Controller at Pioneer Credit Limited, an Australian financial services provider. Jonty has also held positions such as Regional Finance Manager at Vix Technology, Manager Reporting and Analysis at Keystart, and Manager Finance and Client Services at Northstar Financial Services Ltd. Jonty's experience also includes working as an Account Manager at Admiral Administration Limited, a Senior External Auditor at Deloitte Cayman Islands, and a Finance Manager and Controller at Mantadia Asset Trust Company. Jonty started their career as a Senior External Auditor at PKF South Africa.

Jonty Gibbs completed a Certificate in Governance and Risk Management at the Governance Institute of Australia in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Accounting and Finance from the University of Liverpool from 2008 to 2010. Jonty also holds a CA (SA) qualification from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, which they earned from 2000 to 2003. Jonty Gibbs began their education journey by completing a Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc) degree at Rhodes University from 1996 to 1999.
