Samir Afify

Samir Afify has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Samir currently holds the position of Head of Engineering at Cashew since June 2022, where they previously served as a Technical Lead starting from September 2021. Before joining Cashew, Samir worked at Sharjah Economic as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2015 until September 2021. Samir also worked at Etisalat as an Sr. Java Enterprise Developer from April 2015 to September 2015. Prior to that, they served as a Senior J2EE Developer at Saudi Business Machines - SBM from September 2014 to April 2015, primarily focusing on the ROLC "Riyad Online Corporate" project for Riyadh Bank. Samir gained experience as a Software Engineer at IBM from November 2011 to August 2014, and prior to that, as a software engineer at HP Enterprise Services from June 2010 to October 2011.
