Sean Cheng

Sean Cheng currently serves as the Head of Machine Learning at Cashmere AI since June 2024 and as a Board Advisor at AMS AI since February 2025. Previous roles include Research Fellow at Westervelt Group, Harvard University from August 2018 to January 2025, and Visiting Scientist at Bolt Beranek and Newman Inc. (Raytheon) from April 2019 to February 2021. Notable achievements during the tenure at Westervelt Group include conducting extensive LAMMPS simulations and applying advanced machine learning techniques to various scientific problems. Sean Cheng has also contributed to quantum physics research and development in the defense sector at Raytheon, and holds a Master's degree in Applied Physics from Harvard University, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from Cornell University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Physics at Harvard University.
