Courteney Backstrom

Courteney Backstrom has over 17 years of professional work experience. Courteney began their career in 2003 as a Customer Service Representative at The Commerce Bank of Washington. Courteney then moved to Leavitt Capital Companies in 2004, where they held various roles, including Operations Coordinator and Property Management. In 2007, they joined Clearwire Corporation as a Network Deployment Coordinator and Real Estate and Facilities Coordinator, and continued in the same role at Clearwire US, LLC. From 2010 to 2011, they worked at Gap Inc. as a Real Estate Project Coordinator, and at The TJX Companies, Inc. as a Lease Auditor. From 2011 to 2018, they worked at Gridco Systems as a Marketing Specialist, Sales Administrator, Human Resources Manager, and Office Manager. In 2018, they joined Casma Therapeutics as a Senior Manager of Benefits & Operations and Office & Benefits Manager.

Courteney Backstrom attended Coronado High School before continuing their education at the University of Washington, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2003.
