Matthew Kern

Matthew Kern has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Matthew started their career in 2001 at Elim Care, where they worked as an Elim Services employee until 2003. Matthew then joined Beverly Enterprises, where they held the positions of Executive Director from 2003 to 2004 and Senior Executive Director from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, Kern joined The Goodman Group, LLC, serving as Director of Operations until 2015, at which point they were promoted to Vice President of Operations until 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at Cassia - An Augustana | Elim Affiliation.

Matthew Kern has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix, obtained during the years 2004-2006. Matthew also studied Health/Health Care Administration/Management at the University of Minnesota from 2001-2002. In addition, Matthew pursued a degree in University Studies with a focus on Business Administration, Management and Operations at North Dakota State University from 1998-2001. Matthew also holds certifications as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator from both Minnesota and Arizona.
