John A. O’Donnell Sr. is partner in the firms Chicago office and co-chair of the firm’s Admiralty & Maritime practice group. John focuses his practice in Admiralty & Maritime Law and holds Bar admissions in the State of Illinois and Indiana, as well as several United States District and Appellate Courts throughout the Midwestern United States.

John is presently a member of the Maritime Law Association (Proctor in Admiralty), Chicago Ocean Marine Association and has served as President of the Propeller Club of the United States, Port of Chicago and has previously served as Chairman of the Admiralty Committee of the Illinois State Bar Association. John has lectured on admiralty and maritime law, civil litigation matters, including personal injury defense, and trial advocacy at several Chicago law schools and legal seminars.
