Jack Daniels

Jack Daniels is an experienced data platform engineer currently serving as a Senior Data Platform Engineer at Syrenis Ltd since December 2022. In this role, Jack specializes in designing and building robust, debuggable, and scalable solutions while managing change through SSDT and Liquibase CI/CD pipelines. Prior to this position, Jack worked as a Data Engineer at Retail Insight, focusing on complex ETL issues using SSIS and creating a Python ETL CLI. Jack's career at Syrenis Ltd began as a Software Developer, where Jack excelled in advanced query tuning and minimizing code duplication. Before joining Syrenis, Jack led a software development team at Hightown and progressed through various roles, beginning as a Junior Developer in 2016. Jack holds a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from Loughborough University, completed in 2010.
