William Daines

William Daines has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. William started their career in 2014 at Intermountain Healthcare, where they served as an Internal Medicine Physician. In this role, they provided medical care to patients and gained valuable experience in the field.

In 2014, William Daines also became the Founding Medical Director of Intermountain Healthcare's direct-to-consumer urgent care telehealth program called Connect Care. William led a team of telehealth advanced practice clinicians and collaborated with administrative, operational, and clinical leaders.

In 2018, William Daines took on additional responsibilities as the Medical Director of Internal Medicine at Intermountain Healthcare. In this role, they provided leadership to approximately 100 physicians and APPs in 19 clinics. William led areas such as High Value Referral Network development, Coding and Documentation, Care Traffic Control development, and Medical Expense Management huddles and education.

William Daines obtained their Bachelor's degree in American History (United States) from Harvard University, which they completed between 1998 and 2004. William then pursued their medical education at the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine - MD degree from 2004 to 2008.
