Sr. Program Analyst-Cyberspace & Electromagnetic Warfare SME III at Castellum Inc.

Eric Colon has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2010, they served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they facilitated the study of communication theories applied to public speaking. Eric also integrated the use of technology into speech delivery. In 2013, Eric worked as an Electronic Warfare Technician Instructor for the US Army, delivering training and mentoring EW students on planning and integrating cyber electromagnetic activities.

From 2015 to 2017, Eric served as an Adjunct Faculty at Cameron University, teaching courses on communication theories applied to public speaking, with a focus on social media and the implications of cyber warfare. Concurrently, they also assumed the role of CEMA Warrant Officer Advanced Course Instructor at US Army TRADOC, providing instruction on strategic and operational level planning for Cyber Electromagnetic Activities, as well as conducting cyberspace planning for Information Operations.

In 2017, Eric joined the National Intelligence University as a Graduate Student, actively participating in research on Quantum Information Science.

Moving forward, in 2018, Eric worked for the US Army Cyber Command as a CEMA Planner/EW SME G3/39, where they contributed to strategic planning and coordination for Cyber Electromagnetic Activities. Eric also acquired knowledge in Joint and Army operational doctrine, Information Operations, and battle management systems.

In 2021, Eric transitioned to the Corvus Consulting, LLC as a Senior Subject Matter Expert, providing assessment, advice, and guidance on topics of cyberspace operations, electronic warfare, and Cyber-Electromagnetic Activities. Eric coordinated and interfaced with various staff elements and organizations to facilitate Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations.

Next, they joined the United States Department of the Army as a Senior Subject Matter Expert, where they continued to contribute their expertise until 2022.

Consequently, in 2022, Eric took on the role of Director, Strategic Solutions EW and Cyber at Castellum Inc., supporting the technical integration of non-kinetic equities across the enterprise. Their responsibilities included advising senior Department of Defense leaders and contributing to Multi-Domain Operations.

Currently, Eric holds the position of Sr. Program Analyst-Cyberspace & Electromagnetic Warfare SME III at Castellum Inc., where they support the development, staffing, and validation of Cyberspace and Electromagnetic Warfare Operations-related actions. Their expertise continues to be invaluable in advising on the integration of Cyber Electromagnetic Activities.

Eric Colon has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Radio, Television, and Digital Communication from Cameron University. Eric attended Cameron University from 1997 to 2000. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Oklahoma from 2008 to 2011. After completing their master's degree, they enrolled at the National Intelligence University from 2017 to 2018, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Technology Intelligence. Currently, Eric Colon is a doctoral student at the University of the Cumberlands and is expected to graduate in 2024 with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Information Technology/Blockchain.
