Quality Control Supervisor, Analytical Testing at Castle Creek Biosciences

Krystle Swartz has held various roles in the quality control and research fields since 2015. Krystle began their career as a Research Technician at The Pennsylvania State University, where they were involved with an equine nutrition study and helped care for research horses. Krystle then worked as a Research Technician at the Pennsylvania Fish and Wildlife Co-op. In 2016, they joined the Schatz Center for Tree Molecular Genetics as a Research Technician, where they worked on the Pyrularia pubera project and assisted with a poplar tree project. In 2017, they worked as a Research Technician at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, where they characterized diversity of plant species Pyrularia pubera. In 2019, they joined Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories as an Associate Scientist, where they performed data review in the Molecular and Cell Biology Department. In 2020, they began working at Castle Creek Biosciences, Inc. as a Quality Control Supervisor, Analytical Testing, and later held the roles of Quality Control Coordinator and Quality Control Analyst.

Krystle Swartz graduated from Penn State University in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Science Option, and a GPA of 3.53. Krystle then went on to pursue a Professional Science Master's (PSM) in Biotechnology from The Graduate School at Penn State, which they completed in 2019.
