Jennifer Backman is an accomplished culinary professional currently serving as Executive Chef at Castle Hill Inn - Relais & Chateaux since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jennifer held the position of Executive Chef at Waterman Grille from January 2023 to April 2024, and at The Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar from June 2018 to January 2023, where the focus was on local seafood and farm-to-table cuisine. Jennifer has extensive experience in high-end culinary establishments including The Ocean House, Spicer Mansion, and Weekapaug Inn, all of which received prestigious accolades such as Forbes Four Stars. Jennifer's culinary journey began with education at Johnson & Wales University, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts, complemented by an Associate's degree from Bellingham Technical College.
