Joshua Cohen

Joshua Cohen has extensive experience in both music education and the technology sector. Currently serving as the Music Director and Conductor for the Castro Valley Orchestra, Joshua has been with the Castro Valley Unified School District since 2002. In addition, Joshua operates as Principal and Asset Manager at Qibits Associates, which specializes in IT design and cybersecurity. Previous roles include coaching youth at Holy Names University, instructing at Holy Names High School, and serving on the Board of Directors for Alameda Credit Union. Joshua's diverse technical background includes significant positions at Lucent Technologies, Cisco Systems, and 3Com Corporation, where expertise in technical training and program management was developed. Joshua holds multiple degrees from California State University - East Bay, reflecting a strong educational foundation in the field.
