Derek Farrelly

Derek Farrelly has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Derek started their career at Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2002, where they worked as a Procurement Manager for ten years. In this role, they were responsible for managing procurement processes and vendor relationships. In 2012, they joined The Coca-Cola Company as a Global Procurement Packaging Manager, where they handled packaging procurement on a global scale. Derek then moved to Catalent Pharma Solutions in 2016, where they currently serve as the Senior Director of Global Procurement. In this role, they are responsible for managing various aspects of procurement including sourcing process, spend management, contract management, and supplier diversity.

Derek Farrelly holds a CPM (Lifetime Certification) in Certified Procurement Manager from the Institute for Supply Management. Derek also has a Bachelor of Business Honours Degree (BBus) from the Irish Institute of Purchasing & Materials Management (IIPMM). Additionally, Derek holds a Masters of Science Degree (MSc) in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from The University of Salford, specializing in RKC Zurich, Switzerland.
