Hangsheng Li

Hangsheng Li is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in formulation design and development, specializing in agricultural and consumer solutions. Currently serving as Principal Scientist and Chemistry Team Lead at Catalera BioSolutions since September 2024, Hangsheng leads efforts in formulation design. Previously, Hangsheng held the position of Principal Scientist at SIPCO Innovations from April 2021 to September 2024, focusing on product development in biotechnologies. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Formulation Scientist at Terramera, where expertise was applied in agriculture formulation and biopesticide development, as well as a Research Manager in Formulation Science at Unilever, concentrating on skin care and cleansing technologies. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry and a Master’s Degree in Polymer Science, both obtained from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg.
