Bruce Hemphill

Bruce is the founder and CEO of Septima Consulting Limited, providing consulting and advisory services to businesses, boards and management teams operating in financial services.

He was Group Chief Executive of Old Mutual plc from November 2015 to June 2019. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive of Wealth, Insurance and Non-Bank Financial Services at Standard Bank Group. From June 2006 to February 2014, he was Chief Executive of Liberty Holdings Ltd, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer of STANLIB. He was also co-head of Investment Banking at Standard Corporate and Merchant Bank.
