Manfred Puffer

Dr. Manfred Puffer has been an Operating Partner at Apollo Global Management since October 2008.

Prior to joining Apollo, Dr. Puffer was a senior managing director in the Financial Institutions Group of Bear Stearns International, Head of Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe and a Member of the European Executive Committee.

From 2002 to 2005, Dr. Puffer was a member of the managing board of WestLB AG and Head of the Investment Bank, Fixed Income, Equities and Structured Finance. From 2000 to 2001 Dr. Puffer was CFO of Kirch Holding while he guided the company through a financial restructuring.

From 1994 to 2000 Dr. Puffer was Head of Fixed Income and ALM at Hypovereinsbank AG in Munich. Dr. Manfred Puffer is a member of the supervisory board of Infineon. He holds a PhD from the University of Vienna.
