Sam Sadmi

Sam Sadmi has a diverse work experience in various banks and investment firms. Sam began their career at Blauw Research as a Data Research Analyst in 2001. Sam later joined MeesPierson as an Investment Manager in 2002 and transitioned to the role of Private Banker in 2004. In 2011, they joined Societe Generale as an SVP, where they worked until 2013. Sam then worked as a Senior Banker at Barclays from 2013 to 2014, and later at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank from 2014 to 2015. Sam then joined First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) as a Senior Banker from 2015 to 2016. Most recently, Sam has been working at Catalonia Trade & Investment, where they started as Head of Investments in 2017 and took on the role of Head of Innovation in 2018.

Sam Sadmi has a strong educational background with a focus on business and finance. In 1996, they started their academic journey at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Sam continued their studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam and completed a MSc in International Management in 2003. In 2006, they attended EuroMoney, where they pursued studies in Investment and Asset Management.

Sam Sadmi further expanded their knowledge in finance by attending The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI), where they studied Wealth Management in 2014 and Capital Markets & Corporate Finance in 2015. Additionally, they enrolled in the Harvard Business School Online programs, completing Leading with Finance in 2018 and Business Analytics in 2020.
