Sabrina Genßler has worked in the scientific field since 2011. In 2010, they were a Research Associate at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main in Germany, working in the Laboratory of Prof. Dr. Anna Starzinski-Powitz in the Department of Molecular Cell Biology and Human Genetics. Her project was "Function and Regulation of SHREW-1/AJAP-1 isoforms". From 2011 to 2016, they were a Postdoctoral Research Scientist and PhD Student at Georg-Speyer-Haus - Institute for Tumor Biology and Experimental Therapy, working in the Laboratory of Prof. Dr. Winfried Wels in the Department of Translational Oncology/Immunotherapy. Her PhD project was "Generation of Retargeted Killer Cells for Adoptive Immunotherapy of Glioblastoma". From 2016 to 2019, they were a Scientist at iOmx Therapeutics AG. Finally, since 2019, they have been a Senior Scientist at CatalYm GmbH.

Sabrina Genßler obtained their Diploma in Biology from Goethe University in 2010, having studied there from 2005 to 2010. Sabrina also holds a certification as a Diplombiologin from Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, obtained in September 2010.
