Karen Flom

Karen Flom has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Karen most recently worked as the Education Director at Catalysis Inc. since August 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Advocate Aurora Health as an Operations Improvement Specialist, Sr. from August 2018 to August 2019. Before that, Karen served as a Continuous Improvement Consultant in Organizational Excellence at ThedaCare from June 2015 to January 2018. Karen also held multiple positions at ThedaCare, including Manager of Cancer Services & Radiation Oncology from June 2006 to January 2015, ThedaCare Improvement System Facilitator from February 2005 to July 2006, and Manager of Volunteer Services from 1998 to 2005. In addition to their healthcare experience, Karen worked as a Human Resources Business Consultant at Spurlock Runyan Miller & Assoc from 1996 to 1998, and as a Business Consultant at Schara & Associates, Inc. from 1992 to 1996.

Karen Flom obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Lawrence University, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their degree, they have also completed various certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Leading Edge Group in April 2019 and Lean Six Sigma Foundations from LinkedIn in February 2018. Karen also holds certifications as a facilitator for the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Leading at the Speed of Trust, and the 5 Choices of Extraordinary Productivity, all obtained in 2016 from Franklin Covey.
