Oladimeji Fayomi has a diverse work experience history. Oladimeji started their career as an IT intern at MDS WorldWide Logistics in 2009. Oladimeji then worked as an IT support at McNeill Consulting from 2011 to 2012, followed by an administration assistant role at Ecolab in 2012. In 2013, Oladimeji joined Catalyst IT Limited as a system administrator until 2017 when they transitioned to Catalyst Cloud as an OpenStack engineer. Alongside their work, Oladimeji pursued their education at the University of Waikato, where they served as a sessional assistant in 2013 and a graduate student from 2015 to 2016. During their time as a graduate student, they focused on designing and implementing RheaFlow, an SDN router that enhances packet processing using OpenFlow switches.
Oladimeji Fayomi pursued a B.SC (Hons) degree in Computer Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, which they completed from 2005 to 2010. Later, they attended The University of Waikato and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from 2012 to 2013. Oladimeji further pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing it in 2016. Currently, they are working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at The University of Waikato, which is expected to be completed in 2022.
