Philip Sayre

Philip Sayre currently serves as the Vice President of Product Development at Catalyst Nutraceuticals since June 2025, following a significant tenure at Medifast, Inc. from September 2016 to June 2025 as Sr. Manager of Ingredient Science & Technology in R&D. In this role, Philip managed a team of scientists to innovate Medifast’s product portfolio, focusing on nutritional standards and exploring novel ingredients. Philip's previous experience includes roles at Chaban Wellness, Life Extension, and Healthy Directions, where Philip drove product innovation, quality control, and launched numerous dietary supplements and new product formulations. Philip holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University (2023-2026), an MBA in Management from Loyola University Maryland, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and the Science of Food, Nutrition and Exercise from Virginia Tech.
