Megan Thomas

Megan Thomas is a dynamic leader in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as the President & CEO of Catalyst of San Diego & Imperial Counties since October 2015, where Megan drives a collaborative vision for social change aimed at enhancing the lives of local residents through strategic funding and equity initiatives. Previously, Megan held key roles at San Diego Coastkeeper, including Executive Director and Development Director, overseeing substantial fundraising efforts and organizational management. In earlier positions, Megan gained experience with Teach For America Connecticut and the National Geographic Society, contributing to funding strategies and financial oversight. An alumna of Yale School of Management with an MBA in Nonprofit Management and Georgetown University, holding a BSBA in International Business and Spanish, Megan's career is distinguished by a commitment to community improvement and collaborative philanthropy.
