Doug Offerhaus

Doug Offerhaus is a highly experienced mechanical engineering technologist with a career spanning over four decades in the pulp and paper industry. Currently serving as a Corporate Technical Specialist (Mechanical) at Catalyst Paper since 2002, Doug has previously held positions such as Senior Technical Specialist (Mechanical) at Norske Canada and Paper Machine Technical Assistant at Norske Skog. Early career experience includes roles as an Engineering Assistant and Mechanical Designer at Fletcher Challenge Canada Ltd., Mechanical Design Draftsman at Crown Forest Industries, and several positions at Fauchon Engineering Ltd. and Westmin Resources. Doug holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology from UBC, Capilano College, and BCIT, earned between 1974 and 1980.
