Ryan Freeman

Ryan Freeman, CRSP, has extensive experience in health and safety management across various organizations. Currently serving as the Health and Safety Manager at Catalyst Paper since April 2021, Ryan previously held roles including OH&S Instructor at the College of New Caledonia and Regional Manager for Health, Safety and Prevention at Northern Health - BC. Ryan has been actively involved with the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, serving as Chapter Chair from March 2015 to April 2021, and has held multiple safety positions at Canfor over a 25-year period. Ryan's educational background includes a Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a Provincial Instructor Diploma from Vancouver Community College, complemented by a course in OSHA Standards from the University of Washington.
