Barb Royal

Barb Royal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education and community development. Currently serving as a Professional Development Specialist at Catapult Learning since June 2021, Barb previously held the position of Executive Director at eMYRge from March 2021 to March 2024, where the focus was on enhancing economic development and support for local entrepreneurs in Myrtle Beach. As the Founder and CEO of Kids Can Give Too, Inc. from November 2010 to January 2022, Barb demonstrated leadership in philanthropy. An educator by training, Barb taught elementary school at West Deptford Schools and Roanoke City Public Schools, where notable contributions included the development of a District-wide Elementary Gifted and Talented program. Barb holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Roanoke College.
