Alex Davidson

Business Development Manager at Catapult

Alex Davidson has an extensive work history in the sports industry. Alex began their career as a Rugby League player for the North Wales Crusaders from 2016 to 2018. Alex then transitioned into coaching roles, starting as a Rugby Coach for the University of Salford Students' Union from 2017 to 2019. In 2017, they also worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for High Performance Conditioning until 2018.

From there, Alex took on various roles in different organizations. Alex worked as a Fitness Manager for Total Fitness from 2018 to 2019 and as an Assistant General Manager and later General Manager for PureGym from 2019 to 2021.

In 2021, Alex served as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for HurtLocker Gym for a few months. Alex also worked as a Business Development Manager for Pitchero from 2021 to 2022.

Alex then joined Salford Red Devils Rugby League Club in 2019, initially taking on the role of Head Coach for Rising Stars until 2021. During the same period, they also served as the Head of Scouting. In 2019, they became the Head of Reserves Strength & Conditioning and a Reserves Assistant Coach for the club.

In 2022, Alex started working as a Sports Data Analyst for Brasil Rugby League and as a Business Development Manager for Catapult.

Alex Davidson completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sports and Exercise Science from The University of Salford from 2011 to 2015. Following this, from 2015 to 2019, Alex pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Sports Strength and Conditioning from the University of Gloucestershire.
