Calvin Torres has a diverse work experience in the field of sports science and customer success. Calvin started their career at the British Olympic Association in 2012 as part of the Performance Analysis Department during the London 2012 Games, where they captured and disseminated video footage and compiled footage for tactical review in various sports. Calvin then interned at the English Institute of Sport, providing analysis and technical support to athletes in shooting and canoe slalom.
After that, Calvin joined UC Berkeley as a Sports Science Coordinator, where they developed the Performance Analysis program within the athletics department and provided live match day analysis.
In 2015, they joined Catapult, where they held multiple positions. As an Applied Sports Scientist, they led pre-sale product demonstrations and post-sale customer onboarding efforts. Calvin also played a key role in developing innovative sports science and education models. Later, they became an Applied Product Scientist, taking the lead in a wearable product rollout and implementing a quality assurance process. Currently, Calvin is the Manager of Customer Success for North America at Catapult, overseeing a remote team and managing a portfolio of over 450 athletic accounts.
Calvin Torres pursued their education at Middlesex University from 2011 to 2013 and obtained a Masters of Science degree in Performance Analysis. Prior to that, they attended California State University, Long Beach from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science.
