Senior BDM For Southeast Europe at Catapult

Shamsia Gulieva has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Shamsia started their career as a volunteer at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in 2014. Shamsia then worked as an assistant at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as a translator/regional manager at FDT Ltd. In 2012, they became a personal assistant and interpreter for the Management of Sports and Entertainment events. Shamsia also co-founded Interpreters Tandem and served as an interpreter for various international events and organizations.

In 2015, Gulieva joined InStat Sports Co. as a Regional Business Development Manager. Shamsia held this position until 2020. In the same year, they joined RT Software as the North American Manager, a role they held until June 2022.

Currently, Gulieva is working at Catapult, where they have held multiple roles. Shamsia started as a Business Development Manager for Eastern Europe in February 2020. Later, they became the Senior BDM for Russia and CIS in November 2021, and finally, the Senior BDM for Southeast Europe in March 2022.

Throughout their career, Gulieva has gained extensive experience in business development, management, and interpretation.

Shamsia Gulieva completed their Bachelor's degree in Linguistics at Peoples' Friendship University of Russia from 2009 to 2013. Shamsia then pursued a Master's degree in International Law and Legal Studies at two different institutions: Global Campus of Human Rights and Peoples' Friendship University of Russia from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained a certification in Goethe-Zertifikat Start Deutsch A1 from Goethe-Institut e.V. in January 2015.
