Ids van der Molen

Ids van der Molen has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Ids currently works at Catawiki as a Principal Software Engineer. Prior to this role, they served as a Team Lead, Senior Backend Developer, and Platform Engineer at Catawiki. Before joining Catawiki, Ids worked at Atos as a System Designer and Application Developer, where they were involved in developing a service for processing logs from various systems using multiple tools and software. Ids also held the position of Application Developer at Atos, where they were responsible for software architecture, design, and implementation of a large scale distributed network management information system. Ids started their professional journey at KPN as a Network Engineer and Network Expert, specializing in datacenter networks, WAN networks, and ISDN based WAN connectivity. Ids also gained internship experience at Hogeschool Drenthe, Bergmann Automatisering, and Ericsson.

Ids van der Molen has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Technische Informatica) from Hogeschool Drenthe, which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1989, they completed MBO level education in Werktuigbouwkunde at Christelijke MTS Hoogeveen. Ids'seducation journey began with completing HAVO level education in Dutch, English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Economics at HAVO de Groene Driehoek Hoogeveen from 1982 to 1987.
