Prior experience includes roles as Learning & Development Advisor at the Department for Communities and Local Government (2004-2009), and various managerial and recruitment roles at Capita Education Resourcing (2000-2004) and Initial Education Personnel (1999-2000). Ruth holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Operational Research from Royal Holloway, University of London (1996-1999) and completed studies at Hills Road Sixth Form College, Cambridge (1994-1996).
