Dhruv Patel

Dhruv Patel is a Program Manager at Inspirit AI since May 2023, responsible for designing and managing AI-related curricula for over 5,000 middle and high school students, as well as coordinating a mentorship program. In addition, Dhruv serves as a Student Advisor for the Illinois State Board of Education, advocating for student perspectives in policy-making and co-chairing a project on exclusionary discipline. As a Research Intern at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, Dhruv develops computational pipelines to analyze genomics data related to Parkinson's disease, utilizing various programming languages. Dhruv is also involved in creating AbilityConnect, a social networking platform for individuals with rare movement disorders. As the founder of Contrush, Dhruv developed an innovative electric toothbrush to aid those with hand tremors and secured over $25,000 in seed funding through entrepreneurship competitions. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Economics at Harvard University, Dhruv graduated from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in June 2023.
