Julie A. Lagacy

Julie A. Lagacy is a Caterpillar Inc. vice president with responsibility for the Enterprise Strategy Division. In this position, Julie reports to Chairman & CEO Jim Umpleby and is a strategic advisor to the Executive Office. She collaborates with leaders across Caterpillar to focus on continued execution of our strategy for long-term profitable growth. She assumed her current position in September 2020.

Prior to being named vice president of Enterprise Strategy, Lagacy served as vice president with responsibility for the Global Information Services Division and Chief Information Officer. She also served as vice president of the Finance Services Division and was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Caterpillar Global Mining. She joined Caterpillar in 1988 and has held several leadership positions, including product manager, human resources manager and commercial manager.

Lagacy earned dual bachelor's degrees in economics and management from Illinois State University and has a master's degree in business administration from Bradley University. She is also a Certified Management Accountant and holds a CERT Cybersecurity Oversight certificate from Carnegie Mellon University. Lagacy serves on the RPM International Board of Directors.
