Kurt Gibson

Kurt Gibson, MBA, CPA, CMA, serves as the Global Director of Rental Growth Strategy for Caterpillar Inc. since October 2000, with a focus on accounting and finance across multiple leadership roles. Currently, Kurt leads the Loaders Group and previously oversaw the Compact Construction Equipment segment, participating in strategic planning and product development activities. As CFO for Caterpillar’s operations in Japan, Kurt played a pivotal role in establishing and executing financial strategies. Earlier experience includes managing financial operations at Tremont Oil Co. after earning an MBA with a finance specialization from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and holding multiple accounting positions within Caterpillar. Educational background also includes bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield and Bradley University, respectively.
