Fangxi Shang

Peter is an Analyst in Cathay’s industrials sector based in Shanghai. He joined Cathay in February 2022 as an intern. He also interned with Cathay’s Private Equity team based in New York City back in 2020. Prior to joining Cathay in 2022, Peter had interned at the TMT team as well as industrials research division at Fosun Capital where he focused on technology investments. Prior to Fosun, he had internships at talipot*holding, a family officed based in California and Phoenix Tree Capital, a financial advisor based in Shanghai. Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a master’s degree in Finance from University of California, San Diego.
