Ayesha Minty-Jacob has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of marketing and communications. Ayesha started their career as a Management Training Intern at D&D London in 2009. Ayesha then worked as a PR, Marketing and Sales Cross-Training Intern at Marriott International in 2011, where they gained experience in writing press releases, organizing PR events, creating collateral, and managing photography and video shoots. Ayesha also conducted market research and assisted with sales and community relations.
Ayesha then joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. as a Complex Communications Executive in 2011. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of PR and Marketing activities, including campaign planning and execution, collateral development, managing external agencies, and supporting online communication efforts. Ayesha also organized media events and conducted PR and communication plans for events and exhibitions.
In 2012, Ayesha worked as a Social Media and Marketing Manager at Aladin Advertising, where they handled all aspects of PR and Marketing activities. Ayesha developed strategies, implemented networking and content marketing strategies, and evaluated ROI and profit-loss projections.
Ayesha then joined InfoScape Technologies in 2013 as a Hospitality Manager (Sales and Marketing) for the MEA region. In this role, they managed a portfolio of accounts, evaluated and pursued new business opportunities, monitored market conditions, and adjusted sales approaches accordingly.
From 2015 to 2016, Ayesha worked as a PR and Marketing Manager at Millennium Hotels & Resorts. Ayesha'sresponsibilities included regional PR and social media management, developing integrated communications strategies, and implementing regional campaigns.
In 2016, Ayesha joined Habtoor Hospitality as a Marketing & Communications Director, where they led the marketing and communications efforts for the brand.
From 2018 to 2019, Ayesha worked as a Resort Marketing Manager at Parq Vancouver, where they oversaw marketing initiatives for the resort.
From 2019 to 2023, Ayesha served as the Director of Marketing and Communications - National at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, where they led the marketing and communications strategies for the national market.
Currently, Ayesha holds the position of Head of Marketing, Americas at Cathay Pacific, a role they started in 2023.
Ayesha Minty-Jacob has a diverse education history. Ayesha obtained a Swiss Hotel Association Hotel Management Diplôme from Les Roches from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, in 2006, they received a Certificate in Graphic Design and 3D Animation from SAE Institute. Additionally, they have obtained additional certifications such as Psychological Safety: Clear Blocks to Innovation, Collaboration, and Risk-Taking from LinkedIn in 2022 and a certification in 3D Animation from SAE Institute Dubai in 2005.
