Ben Hewson

Ben Hewson is an experienced airline pilot with a career spanning over 19 years in aviation. Currently serving as a First Officer at Cathay Pacific Airways since July 2016, Ben specializes in Airbus A330 and A350 aircraft. Prior experience includes roles as a Pilot with Susiair from October 2006 to July 2016, where responsibilities included serving as Captain on the P180 Avanti II and as an Instructor Pilot for mountain flying in Papua on the C208B. Additional piloting experience comprises work with King Air Services and Federal Air, focusing on UN contracts in various regions, including Tanzania and Rwanda. Ben holds a Graduate Diploma in Aviation Management from UNSW, completed in July 2023, and foundational training from the Federal Air Pilot Training Center.
