Francesc Torres

Francesc Torres has a wealth of experience in the aviation industry, with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Francesc started their career at Vueling Airlines as a Flight Operations Engineer, where they conducted performance-related studies and introduced a new Flight Plan system. Francesc then moved on to Qatar Airways, serving as a Flight Operations Engineer and later as a Flight Operations Engineer at Airbus. At Qatar Airways, their responsibilities included performance studies, aircraft performance monitoring, and EFB management. Francesc then joined Air Astana as a Manager of Technical Operations, where they oversaw various technical aspects of flight operations and was involved in new aircraft evaluation and fuel performance monitoring. Francesc then transitioned to Cebu Pacific Air, initially as the Director of Flight Operations Technical Support & Dispatch and later as the Director of Operations Support. In these roles, they managed multiple departments, such as Flight Operations Library, Operations Engineering, and Dispatch. Francesc also served as an Executive Adviser for Network Control & Operations Support, overseeing the technical and support side of operations. Following their time at Cebu Pacific Air, Francesc held roles at 777 Partners as an Aviation Adviser and at 347 Green Leasing as the Vice President of Operations and Technical. Currently, they are working at Cathay Pacific as the Head of Integrated Operations Control. With their extensive experience and leadership abilities, Francesc Torres has proven himself to be a valuable asset in the aviation industry.

Francesc Torres' education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, obtained from 2002 to 2005. Francesc also holds a Bachelor's degree in Management and Business Administration from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, obtained from 2010 to 2018. Francesc has completed a Leadership Communication with Impact program from INSEAD in 2018 and a Stanford Executive Program from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2022.
