Gary Chui

Gary Chui has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010. Gary began their career as a Corporate Marketing Summer Analyst at BNY Mellon and later worked as a Summer Trainee at KPMG. In 2011, they joined Cathay Pacific Airways as a Corporate Risk Management Summer Analyst.

Gary then moved on to Bravia Capital, where they worked as a Private Equity Summer Analyst. In 2012, they participated in the Swire Management Programme at Swire Pacific. Gary returned to Cathay Pacific Airways in 2012, where they held various roles, including Assistant to General Manager Airline Planning and Assistant to General Manager Japan.

In 2015, Gary participated in the Corporate Exchange Programme at Air China and also served as the Sales and Marketing Manager for the Pearl River Delta Region at Cathay Pacific Airways. In 2016, they became the Manager for Shenzhen & Western Pearl River Delta and Chief Representative in Shenzhen.

Gary gained experience in business development and marketing as the Business Development & Marketing Manager and Chief Representative in the Greater Bay Area at Cathay Pacific Airways from 2017 to 2018. Gary then served as the Area Manager for Fujian Province from 2018 to 2019 and later became the Passenger Network Planning Manager.

In 2019, Gary Co-Founded and served as the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in China (Xiamen Chamber). Most recently, they held the positions of Head of Cargo Network and Scheduling and Head of Strategy Unit, Airline Planning at Cathay Pacific Airways in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

Gary Chui completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Law and Business from The University of Hong Kong in 2012. Gary then pursued an Executive Development Programme in Business from INSEAD in 2018. In 2020, they enrolled in HKUST Business School and obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA. In 2022, Gary participated in an Exchange Programme under GNAM at Yale School of Management to further their business education. Additionally, they obtained the ESG Foundation Course certification from Matters Academy in 2021.
