Kristine Pottinger

Kristine Pottinger has a diverse and extensive work experience in various industries, including arts and culture. Kristine is currently working as the Director of Public Education and Visitor Services at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine since June 2019.

Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing and Customer Experience Consultant at Pottinger Consulting since January 2015. From November 2015 to May 2019, they served as the Director of Programs at the 9/11 Tribute Museum, where they played a crucial role in the development and implementation of IT strategies, digital communication, and educational outreach.

Kristine also gained management experience as the General Manager at the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra from February 2014 to January 2015, and as the Director of Marketing and Communications from March 2012 to January 2015.

Kristine held the position of Senior Director, Marketing at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts from April 2008 to August 2010 and served as the Associate Vice President of Visitor Experience and Earned Income at The New York Botanical Garden from June 2007 to April 2008.

Kristine'scareer began as the Associate Director of Marketing at New York City Opera from January 2005 to June 2007. Kristine also worked as the House and Box Office Manager at Miller Theater at Columbia University from December 2000 to January 2005, and as the Manager of Subscription and Ticket Services at The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center from August 1999 to December 2000.

Kristine Pottinger began their education in 1985 at Lawrence University, where they pursued a B.M. in Piano Performance. Kristine graduated from Lawrence University in 1989. From 1988 to 1992, Kristine Pottinger attended the University of Hartford, earning a Master of Music degree in Music Theory. Kristine also pursued a Master of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy during the same time period at the University of Hartford. In 1993, Kristine Pottinger enrolled at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, where they pursued their A.B.D. in Music Theory.
