Nicole Hillas

Nicole Hillas is an experienced educator specializing in humanities and social studies. Currently serving as a Middle School Humanities Teacher at Catherine Cook since August 2016, Nicole previously held the role of Lower Middle School Social Studies Coordinator at Marymount School of New York from August 2014 to May 2017, focusing on curriculum development and collaboration among faculty. Nicole also taught Ancient Civilizations and religious studies at the same institution, emphasizing text engagement and personal growth. Prior to these positions, Nicole gained valuable experience as a Teaching Intern and Athletic Coach at The Park School in Brookline, MA. Nicole holds a Master of Arts in Teaching of Social Studies from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Master of Divinity in Theology from Hellenic College Holy Cross, and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from the same institution.
