Maeve Story

Maeve Story is a Project Engineer at Cathie, specializing in geotechnical engineering for the offshore wind industry since June 2022. Previously, Maeve served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Rhode Island, focusing on structural health monitoring of the Block Island Wind Farm turbines, where tasks included finite element modeling and soil-structure interaction analyses. Earlier roles included teaching assistant positions in the College of Engineering, research assistant positions at MARUM and Technische Universität Braunschweig, and internship experiences in ocean engineering and restorative ocean farming. Maeve holds a Master of Science in Ocean Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and has participated in various independent research and engineering projects throughout academic training.
